5th May 2026 Hiking - Walking: Around Felixstowe Wind Direction: NE Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: slight Air Temperature: 12 Sea Temperature: Weather: sunny morning then clouding over Max Speed: Distance Covered: 4.50 miles (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) Tuesday 5th May - walks *** – Around Felixstowe – sunny clouding over later. I joined Mag on her early morning prom walk and lovely it was too certainly the best part of the day! Leaving home just after 6 we headed down to Felixstowe pier so I could take a few weather pics, sadly none were used but Chris Page did actually mention a pic of our full water butt I sent in over the weekend! We turned just short of The Fludyers and walked back through the Spa Gardens and home to sort my pics out with a cuppa! Then exercises in the back garden before I pack a picnic and we head to our seat in the Spa Gardens just past the theatre, it had clouded over and a breeze from the NE had picked up making it feel chilly! Then back through the town to spend some time with old friend Mary before heading for home meaning we actually walked 4.50 miles! I did have a drive down to Felixstowe Ferry to catch the sunset, it was rubbush:( Photo Album here |
